🔧 BUILD Termi-Fux's '91 Calypso Green Mustang 5.OH LX Hatch

General Information

Back story: This is my first car I bought when I was 14. Bone stock aside from a K&N panel filter, purple tint and a circuit city sound system. In 22 years of ownership, it's only been driven about 5,000 miles lol. It's been on the backburner for a long time when other toys came into the picture. I gotta get it back on the road and enjoy it. I've done a lot to it over the years but was never completely happy with it and would lose interest. Anyway it's all torn apart in my garage right now but I have most everything to finish it and I'm slowly getting it done. Maybe this thread will keep me motivated... It's no race car. Just want a fun street car, full interior that I can take to Byron occasionally. Some major things it's getting currently are a Vortech V3 blower kit with an Anderson Power Bypass Kit, Terminator X EFI kit, Holley Digital Dash, Maximum Motorsports catalog was thrown at it. All new fuel system etc. It's already got a complete TrickFlow top end. I'll update with more specifics as I get shit done. I've got real sets Ford R58 Cobra R's in Silver and Chrome and Bogart drag wheels for the car. Baby likes different shoe options.

I really don't have many pics of the car anymore. Lost to old laptops and photofucket. Here's a few pics of it when I got it April 2001. And a current pic. More than likely it's fused to the jackstands at this point. I'll update as I progress.

I haven't touched this thing in awhile. I've been annoyed trying to find a place for my coils so they're hidden behind the fenders. P PJx5x warned me making my own plug wires sucks and it does. Going COP has been a headache I hope it's worth it for driveability sake. I'm tempted to drive this thing in Sick Ward for Sick Summer or at least go to a couple stops with PJ. We'll see, odds are neither of our cars will be done.

As much as I'd like to get the front clip back on cause I'm sick of it looking the way it is I probably won't put the body parts back on till it's running and issue free with all the crap behind the fenders.

Beating a dead horse. Not changing shit unless there's an issue with this trans. When I did drive this car back in the day it's pretty fun with a manual valve body and stall converter. The cobra is a banger so I'm fine with what I got.
First manual valve body car I ever rode in. Take me to CHB in this thing when it’s done?

I did more shit. Coils are done and mounted for good. Plug wires are done and routed how I want. That was stupid and if I need custom plug wires made again I'll farm it out to a pro. Fixed the wiring harness so it'll work for my junk SBF instead of a junk LS. I gotta pretty up and route the Holley harnesses rats nest into the car. Polished up my shaft awhile ago for some reason. I'm having custom mirrors cut so when I have this bitch at World Of Wheels on wheel cribs you can see my polished shaft. As always thanks P PJx5x for his tech support hotline 😘
