Well I have the same issue with 2400x1080 and 3200x1440 so I doubt it's a "wide enough" issue.

Same issue in chrome and duckduckgo.

Also landscape mode cuts off new posts bolt and search button.

The lightning bolt is gone because it got wiped in the template merge. Need to fix it.

Actually no, it still loads on mobile, just not landscape (because the site is being treated full width, so it defaults to what whats new tab or the new posts button on the homepage). And I dont think I ever had it active on desktop. So nevermind.

Search button remains on landscape.

Took me a few extra seconds to figure out where the Giphy option was. Not sure if the "GIF" button can be renamed "GIPHY"?

Also, maybe it will take time to see how that top answers thing works in reality, but from the preview, it makes the thread look really choppy.

GIF is pretty self explanatory lol. But I'm sure I can find where that icon resides and change it.

Q/A I can probably style to look a bit better. Its default XF so I'm sure they'll continue to improve upon it.

I think the confusion can be in clicking on it, thinking you're getting a GIF from anywhere else. Until it pops up and you realize it's the giphy application.

Again, not an issue once you know it.

I assume you mean the editor buttons and not the actual reply button. If its the reply button, let me know asap.

If you find that the editor is all grayed out, this is caused by the bb code toggle button being clicked. I have done a tweak so that when the editor is good to go, the button is green. When its not, its red. You want it almost always showing green. As seen below: (Note the colors may look...

If you're viewing on desktop, we were already pretty blazing fast. So the site will be snappier but in testing, the update is marginal. Still playing around with mobile, as our score actually dropped on that...but thats a project for the weekend.

Ya, thankfully we've always scored crazy high for desktop on both Google PageSpeed and GTmetrix.

Mobile is always trash. I'm sure some of that is our use of add-ons and a few other things. I'll eventually get that number higher.

I will say, when I am using mobile, it really isn't that bad. Any slowness, I would've attributed to a low signal on the phone vs. the site itself.

I mean its not bad by any means but I want our score higher. The higher the scores, the better Google ranks us.

Ok, aside from the mobile banner being broken, I should have fixed everything from the update. Tweaked some things, implemented new features and sped the site up some. Not a bad way to go into our 15th year.
