watched the 1st 2 episodes. Super woke cast and characters jammed down your throat. every female is super snarky with constant one line comments for everything.. I mean everything. Wife can’t stand it at all lol. I’ll give it 1 more episode but it’s not likely one I’ll be watching much of.

Okay watched the 3rd episode. It was just decent enough to save it for me. Will watch the 4th.

Both Star Trek Discovery and Picard were stuffed full of woke shit.
No surprise that this new show is the same.

They should just rename it Woke Trek.

Yeah series seems soo much worse. At least the 1st 2 episodes were, something happens, cut to the dyke and drop a snarky comment. Captain issues an order, cut to the security office chick for her snarky comment, ship getting shot, #1 makes her comment before the captain can issue orders. I do believe Kirk would have slapped a bitch for that shit..

Well that’s the thing. Discovery and Picard had this super work cast and character thing but it was not nearly as in your face as this series and they moved on past that and had good stories. My wife and I both watch Picard and still working on Discovery and it’s been solid.

I’m going to convince my wife to watch the 3rd episode even though she absolutely rage quit the 2nd and I’m really hoping it gets better as it goes.

The first season of Picard was great and I don't recall too much in-your-face wokeness.
Maybe just watch the first season.

Discovery was ultra-woke from the start.

Hollywood has been psycho since the early 1900s. That's how they are. They need to give each other awards every month to feel good about themselves. Hopefully they come out with good shows.

I can’t believe the reviews on this are soo positive. Praising the 90% female cast and the loving caring soft men.

Anyways Wife watched the 3rd episode. Said the story was good but too much emphasis on the touchy feely crew and how everything makes them feel. Again the captain is soo emasculated and has no control over anything.

Haven't watched it yet, was about to cancel my Paramount subscription since Halo is over, and it was the train wreck I feared it would become.

I haven't watched Discovery or Picard. I've watched the 4 episodes of this though and I'm enjoying it. The music throughout is great. Bassy and brassy = great combo. It almost makes me feel like I'm watching a Star Trek movie at parts.

I feel the same.. i fucking hated the first couple episodes were super annoying. Got a lot better as it went along.
