i listened to the first song on my drive in at 515, and then had the next like 5-6 blaring at my desk but was having to deal with shit and wasn't paying attention

keep forgetting to bump this. Listened to it twice at work yesterday. Good album, but to me it kinda feels more like "grown up" slipknot Kind of a blend of stone sour corey and slipknot corey. I usually judge my slipknot albums by how fast and reckless they make me want to drive my motor vehicle. This album mostly elicits a mild to moderate desire to be a public nuisance on the motorways. But there definitely are a few songs on this album that hit hard

I feel like since Stone Sour is on semi-perm hiatus, he needs to get his clean vocal fix here now. Atmospherically they have been really upping their game the last few albums.

However, i do want me some Iowa shit. That was such a killer album.

3 songs at best on Iowa. Vol 3 was definitely way better.

I'd have to sit down and go through which is actually best without jumping to self titled off the bat.
