If you're committed to the work, may I offer a suggestion? Take some more4X4 like the work hanging above your bed then wood glue it together. plane and sand it then coat with a heavy resin and you'll have something cool.

I've thought about it. But resin, good resin, is expensive. I'n thinking that next year's craft season would be a perfect opportunity to build a bunch of pieces and sell them

After seeing one made on the newest episode of Holmes+Holmes, my vote is for a live edge river tabletop....

Especially if you could do a waterfall version off the side of the bar....

The owner is doing a great job on the van. Started carpeting the interior. The back is decked out with checkered flooring and all sorts of storage options. You can see the fold down bunk that I made for his kid.
