That motherfucker!!! Dude is taking credit for the build and appearance like he masterminded the thing. Were you the one that did all of the maintenance? Is he trying to flip for a profit?
The owner I bought the car from did ALL the performance mods. I only had to do plugs/oil. I bought the car in tip top running shape. The new owner did the following.
"This doesn't include over $1k in recent maintenance to address various small items, e.g., new front/rear windshield rubber seals, new hood/trunk struts, new OEM side marker lights, new cabin air filters, fresh fluids throughout (oil, trans, diff)"
That being said. If he gets asking price definitely would be in the profit category based off purchase price and his additional costs. If he takes 19k or so then break even point is my guess. Hey honestly if he can make a profit power to him i do the same
. But yes the ad is written like he built the car and loved it for long time. To be fair I still randomly chat with him and he a cool dude (no complaints). He actually sent me photo of what is replacing this car (A nice E90 M3). This 335i was a true sleeper. But I did not enjoy driving it around town. The single mass flywheel and spec 3 clutch was OK but not enjoyable. That being said this was a monster on the highway (roll race queen). This car is up on the TCG dragy leader board for a pretty sick 60-130mph
