Why do so many GP1300s have Doo motors in them if Yamaha is bestest? Kinda reminds me of all the Ford guys that put LS motors in their stangs.

You can say that about anything though.... hitting anything at 100mph in any type of vehicle isnt going to be good.

Rode a 09 Yamaha FX SHO the other day. It was a supercharged 1.8L (202HP) IDK what it was but I thought the performance was kinda meh. Sure it was one of the fastest PWC's I've been on but I kinda expected more. Acceleration from a stop didn't feel that great but when you cracked it from a roll it moved out. It did 65 with me on it. Maybe it was the size. It is the same size as my VX I feel these ride super nice but they just don't have the handling. Id like to try a GP1800 to see what something with similar power does in a lighter package.
