Got my notice from McHenry county that they're upping my prop taxes something like 20% for 2018 after just granting me a reduction in 2016, claiming that they "missed my property in a 2015 reassessment cycle."

So mad right now. This increase is probably $250/mo to me.

Robbins and E Joliet don't even compare to Gary. Driving through Gary made me sad. I really wasn't scared. Whole city blocks abandoned full of houses slowly rotting and decaying while kids walk to school right past them. Real talk, it hit me right in the feels.
