I hit McGough rode Sunday with the GTO. I was all over a bunch of bikes attempting to rip through it.
For as much as I enjoyed going through there on the bikes a good 20 years ago, I pretty much avoid those curves now. It's way too populated, and there is usually debris (dirt, gravel, etc) on the road, which sometimes looks intentional.I hit McGough rode Sunday with the GTO. I have no issues scraping the floorboards at 50mph. As long as it is from me leaning, and not because the bike got chucked into a ditch thanks to gravel. My floorboards are spring loaded, so they have some give. When my engine guard scrapes it jars the whole bike, and it doesn't give, at all. That gets your attention real quick.I was worried with a couple of those guys on their cruisers leaning that far in, just one little pebble (which there were a ton on them...), and someone's getting road rash...
I took a similar pic last week on my 2 day Kentucky roadtrip. Mine was down 47 just north of Gibson City.
