Plasti dipped my SS wheels

I really like the textured look of the finish,Sort of hard to see in the pic
But its not smooth like a powder coat
The rims turned out real nice, We still need to brush up a few spots around the center cap on one wheel

does this clean off easily and does it ruin the stock finish

Just go on YouTube and search "plastidip your rims" and "removing plastidip from rims". I just looked at a bunch of stuff and here is what I've learned:

1. It will last in excess of 1 year if applied librally and taken care of.
2. More is better. A thicker coat will last longer and can be removed easier.
3. The "glossifier" made by PlastiDip works quite well and is comparably priced.
4. It will actually PROTECT your stock finish, not harm it.
5. You can apply PlastiDip to almost anything, including your body panels, and it can be removed w/o damaging.
6. The prep work requires no sanding or chemicals. Just wash and thoroughly dry the surface.

Go to DYC Home - Plasti Dip For Your Car - Resources & More at DipYourCar.com NEW Glossifier for some great how-to videos, FAQ's, and some invaluable tips/suggestions that others have learned the hard way (not damaging, but wasting a whole can and having to start over.

Average cost for a set of rims varies. Usually aroung 1 can per rim of matte black, so maybe 5 cans total for yours, and it is, as he stated, about $7-$8 per can.
