Congrats to Flyn for winning the Championship for 2016! Also congrats to TonzKnock-G for being runner up. The playoffs were generally all really good matchups. It made the final few weeks of the season really fun to watch. The final standings are as follows:

So how does everybody feel about this year? What worked/didn't work for you?

Any rule changes that you would like to throw out? Now's the time.

As always, I will entertain just about any suggestions for the league. It's been pretty smooth over the last few years, I think most of the issues have been hammered out. That being said, let's hear what people have to say.

Definitely one of the smoothest leagues I have been in.

I'm happy with the league as it is but it might be fun sometime to have an auction league or PPR either in this league or the 2nd TCG league.

Another change that might be interesting is counting return yards/TDs for an individual player. That would bump returners' stats way up.

Not saying we should do either, just tossing them out. I'm happy with the way you run things, Jeff. Smooth year and fast payment.

Return TDs should count for individual players already. Just not yards. Not even really useful since those players typically only play the return position and hard to justify the spot.

I really really really don't like PPR. WRs are already overvalued, and that'll bump them up every more. I don't like seeing single players out scoring the rest of the team combined, and I've seen that in PPR leagues. Just my opinion on it.

In another league I'm in we have a defensive player besides your team defense.
1pt per tackle, and everything else is pretty much standard defensive team scoring (sacks, fumble, interception). Just tossing it out there

I entered the champion of champions contest through Yahoo. Pays $40K to the winner. Only have to beat a hundred thousand other league champions. LOL!

If you guys want to play for the next three weeks, I think some of you are eligible for other contests depending on where you finished. Enter before the games tomorrow if you are interested.

I know one new rule. You can't have your highest scoring week against me! ...lol
AutoDraft came back to bite me in the butt the last half. And even if I got last, I didn't quit trying. I know that in other leagues I played in that ruins it for everyone.

In other leagues I've been a fan of the "last place tax." Makes it so even if you suck you have to set your lineups. If the buy in is 30 bucks, last place tax can be 5 - 10 bucks that goes to the winner or into the pot.

Only thing I didn't do last 2 weeks was pick up players. Wasn't sure that would be cool for those still in the fight. And I think it was the very last loss that put me in last place...

Yeah, it's an unwritten rule that you dont pick up players when you're out of it for respect for people that are in it. For that reason, we couldn't do a last place tax.
