My name is Ken. I Stumbled on these forums a bit back and have found some really good info and discussions.
I'm a long time member of svtperformance and modularfords. I have 2003 Cobra that bought brand new in November of 2003. Unfortunately do to life and priorities it has been sitting in my garage untouched for the last 13 years needing a new engine. She has a built Lentech 4r70w and a built SRA both of which I swapped to about 30 days after buying it lol. Have almost all the parts aquired to put her back together. Quick rundown of the new heart is a brand new 4.6 Aluninator block, brand new FRPP CNC ported DC heads, 10.5 Gibtec pistons, Molnar Power Adder rods, full return fuel fuel system best available timing components including Cloyes adjustable primary and secondary cam gears, ARP everything, Gen 5 Whipple 3.0 blower and an MS3 Pro PnP ECU with all the fun stuff (flex fuel, traction control, individual cylinder knock control etc. etc.). Ok not really a quick rundown but that's the jist of it. Looking forward to being here.
Oh and possibly switching the 4r70 out for a 6r80.

Thanks
Ken

Is there actually a Fort out there?

I've only been once and don't know much about the town.
Yes, the actual Fort Wayne is about a quarter mile away from our court house in the middle of town. I Drive right by almost weekly. It still had the walls around the entire complex up until about 6-7 years ago when they decided to take them down so people could actually see the fort and all it's buildings when driving by. Otherwise you had to take the time to actually get tickets for certain days to go in and see it. We did a field trip when I was in grade school and they used to have it fully staffed with people wearing period correct clothing and talking as they would back then and explaining the day to day routines for the people living inside the fort in it's day. It was pretty cool and I'm glad I got to see and experience it when I was a kid. Pretty sure they don't do that now but you can walk through whenever you want now.

Finally remembered to grab a few pics. Front bumper cover is off from working on it. Easier to remove it then lean against and over it. The engine block is a never been used Aluminator I picked up a few years ago already prepped for use in an ’03 Cobra. Center console shifter is a B&M Pro Ratchet and shifter plates are something I made (and used to sell online) when I swapped in the 4r70w back in early 2004. Shifter plates, 6 point roll bar with swing outs and valve covers are all powder coated Silver Vein.
Thanks
Ken

Thank you! Glad to be here.
I’m looking forward to the progress myself lol it’s been a LONG time coming. 16 years sitting all together, 13 years since it last ran (which was about a week and a half and 200 miles) if you want to count that :(
I can actually see the light at the end of the tunnel this time, still kind of dim but it's there ;)
