We did. Then the Gates tensioner failed. (swear I posted this) So we went ahead and put it in and then I got a Subaru OEM one.

Everything is on. I have to chase down a vac leak somewhere, but she runs. Also need 1 new downpipe to cat back gasket.

My stupid "drop in piston", "no better then s00ls destroying a motor" swap is almost bug free today. Got the day off last minute and rather spend time around the house, so only tinkered for 20 mins or so. Got the EVAP/PURGE system hooked up correctly, and now the car doesn't stall. Still can hear a bit of an air leak, so boost test will come next week.

Never updated, but my biggest issue was the EVAP purge solenoid was connected improperly. Have 200 miles on the motor now, and made a trip to Norfolk, VA for a Subaru meet. Awwww yea!

Going to order/install bushings this week.
