i know brembos can get dark from track days, but holy shit man. i wonder what temps you hit to do that?

these pads were brand new and go up to 1250. i am sure there is some engineering tolerance but i guess somewhere over that. i am going to get the next step up which go to 1350 and a brake fluid that can run a little hotter.

the next step up above that jumps to 1650 but they are track only pads. the 1350 are probably just on the fringe of what you should be using for street.

Shit thats crazy! I thought Brembos would of with stood the heat a little better than that.

they do, it's the paint that cant.


I've made my brakes smoke once before...( Hawk HPS, obviously the brembo itself wasnt)

The south track is so much fun, my buddy own's one of the Z3's at Team Stradale and we had the south track for an event on June 19th and AMS was out there with two of their cars on the north track.
