update!! shes alive and kicking!

shes running pig rich....black smoke at idle and a cloud of black smoke on acceleration. idles great but after 5-7mins of driving, she dies at EVERY stop! any ideas?

my driveshaft is a lil short so im taking it easy at the moment (calling the shop shortly). None of my gauges work except the speedo sometimes works. the others have worked a few times but usually read nothing or are pegged. Im talking with tbichips but wont go with him until i have the $$$

it def is quicker than the old 2.8

the hood dont close because the intake/alternator is too high!

i need to tidy up the bay....then this winter the engine gets revamped again!

update!

found my problem after months!

valve adjustment! wow! what a difference. first found a fouled out plug. so 8 new plugs and a running valve adjustment. i can finally make it to a meeting and run some of those other bowtie trucks on the forum!
