I think pontoons as a whole have come along way but the general design and layout of MOST pontoons hasn't changed much. I mean you can buy pontoons with options today that were not available 10 years ago. Twin engines, wide beams, full powerboat like windshields. But in regards to [MENTION=3061]Lead Pipe[/MENTION] purchase he isn't going to buy anything crazy so yeah, motors, condition. Id probably say pontoon/hull tech also.

Oh yeah, if he was looking at brand new shit, definitely... But, early 2000's vs mid-late 2000's I don't think he's going to be missing much of anything lol

that scarab i posted yesterday i saw on FB today with this message:

Bravo 1 drives, freshened last year. Imco dual ram external hydraulic steering, 280 k planes, gaffrig guages, ect. Transom, floor, and stringers replaced in 2012, interior is beautiful with custom sit down bolsters. New bimini top, custom cover, tri axle aluminum trailer with new brakes, bearings, & jack. Boat needs a good buff job but cleans up nicely.
