Food / Drink Little Caesars Tests New Sicilian-Style Pizza

Little Caesars is currently testing the new Sicilian-Style Pizza for a limited time at participating locations in the Richmond-Petersburg area of Virginia and the Columbia area of South Carolina.

The new Sicilian-Style pizza looks to be made in the same pan as Little Caesars' Detroit-Style Deep Dish pizza but doesn't feature the same crispy crust and cheese to the edges. Instead, it offers an end crust brushed with buttery garlic spread and a dusting of Parmesan cheese (which is the same treatment given to the pizza chain's Crazy Bread). The Sicilian-Style Pizza also seems to be sprinkled on top with the same Italian seasoning as Little Caesars' Italian Cheese Bread.

The new pizza only comes either topped with cheese or Old-World Pepperoni. Like half of the chain's Deep Dish pizza, it is cut into four slices.

Pricing for Little Caesars' Sicilian-Style pizza comes in at an affordable $3.99.

Looks to be about the size of the lunch special, which is I think $5 for the 4 square deep deep and a 20oz. So yeah definitely a solid deal.
