I asked about this months ago and got laughed at. Lol I'd run one if I was using it.

The only reason to run a VPN is to see streams from other countries. Yes, your ISP can see you are streaming something. You are streaming, not hosting. They care about hosts and people that upload.

Just install stock Kodi and add a few add-ons that you like. This has ways worked best for me.

Same here, between neptune rising and smooth streams I really don’t need anything else. We have Hulu which was free from my wife’s sprint plan. Amazon was mainly for the free shipping but I use the Tv and music service sparingly.

Installing Kodi on your FireStick gives you incredible freedom. The process of installing Kodi on FireStick is actually easier than you might think. You don’t have to root your device, and you can accomplish the whole process in about 5 minutes, if you’re smart. I just updated Kodi on my firestick and did a few of the popular add ons and I am not getting much to work.

I've tried it both through a regular connection and a vpn. I have comcast so I assumed there was a chance they are blocking the service.

We've never had much success with Kodi being consistent but usually I could get something to play other than porn.

Ideas?

I mainly use neptune rising and smooth streams. Neptune being the free one. I kinda gave up on kodi to be honest. Neptune works for the most part and smooth streams fills all my needs along with hulu and prime tv.

And yeah I kinda gave up because I was having so many issues but the wife has a bunch of TV time coming up so I figured I'd give it another go....

Good suggestions thus far. I installed titanium build and some of those pre installed didn't work as well. Yoda was there and I must have missed that one.
