No one knows how to drive RWD anymore...that is the issue. These ricers trade in their hot hatch for a Mustang when they finally get a job...and have absolutely zero idea how to handle a relatively high horsepower car with RWD.

Rule #1...get your wheels straight before you hammer it!
Rule #2...don't slam on the brakes when you fish tail!

You realize that if you have oversteer in a ricer hot hatch even if that person has a job ;) and hits the brakes the same thing will basically happen and you will end up spinning. Goal is to modulate the throttle to keep weight on the rear.

You're acting like hot hatches have enough power to do this? Most of these dweebs trade them in before the tires wear out enough to lose traction.

You really do seem to have an odd hatred of "ricers" where did they touch you :pedobear:

Don't really need power to do it with fwd. I have done it in my mazda3 which has no power and sticky tires, although on snow tires it is even more fun as it comes sooner and at slower speeds. Just a simple equation of speed and transferring too much weight to the front end of the car while braking/turning. I am usually doing it on purpose to get some rotation on the car. But if I don't get on the gas soon enough or heaven forbid hit the brakes it will swap ends very quickly.

Focus ST, GTI and Mazda's do some of this braking to move weight transfer around automatically for you to give you that dynamic weight transfer without the driver having to do it.
