Boomba does make some sexy shit. And functional too.
Well I decided to stop pretending to be a Finnish mechanic and be a real one today and install my boomba BPV.
Install was fairly smooth. It was kind of a bitch getting the bracket back on w/ the longer bolts and those sleeves because I couldn't see shit once I got my hands in there. And there were vacuum lines that were always getting in the way. But its in!!
Look at this stock junk.
Somewhere back there there's a turbo........
Lookin good! Now to cover it up w/ my tire
What surprised me even more is when I fired it and gave it a couple revs. It sounds mostly the same as the stock unit, but it definitely has a lot more POP now. Honestly this is about perfect for me. Who the hell needs a bov?

I'm also going to sound slightly crazy when I say this, but under certain loads, it makes a noise that sounds eerily similar to a supra w/ a tial bov, kinda like this, except not as pronounced.
