so ive been watching/hunting for a golf cart for neighborhood duties since i sold my sxs...

ive talked about it in other threads but like my old electric sxs, there are LSV "low speed vehicle" title'd golf carts out there... that are street legal in IL when insured/plated when on under 35 mph roads (or maybe it's 30...) either way.

my c-list alert hit for "street legal" a week ago tomorrow and i found one north of the dells.... dude had it since 2007 and mainly used it for driving to/from work and moving small airplanes.

batteries as of 1-2 years ago... full vinyl enclosure, few sets of wheels and tires, etc. i rallied up to get it... cleaned it up some this weekend.

it's a 2002- these are made in wisconsin. the company is columbia parcar. they make all sorts of battery powered vehicles still.

the wheels are teh funniest. they are 13" wheels and the tires are legit DOT car tires- 175/50r13.... only thing i can find them sharing the size iwth though is like an original mini cooper

i can't find any other 13" golf cart wheels...

the ones that were on it when i got it had nowhere as good as tread and were much more pitted than the spare set i got so i swapped the spare set on yesterday after cleaning the chrome up a bunch.

i saw some cheapo vinyle camo stuff on a roll......give ya something to practice on, cant imagine it would take you more than 3 try's with that front end to figure out how to not make it look like you werent drunk installing the wrap....

It goes 25 as it sits, I haven't looked into mods really as far as motor stuff goes. It just eats battery going that fast and when it's this cold outside. Battery's don't like 25*
