I wont crawl under any of my vehicles with my HF jack holding them up as I dont trust it, lol.
Non HF jackstands always go under when I'm using my jack.

Ditto. I'll buy stuff from HF, but PPE (aside from gloves) and stuff that's preventing something large and heavy from crushing me? Not a fucking chance.

Thank You !

I have some older HF 3 tons. Orange in color and different physical design on closer inspection. Also, never had a sticker on them, let alone the Pittsburgh brand.

But thanks again for the heads up. Good info, will pass along to other groups.

I've got the exact same ones from HF. Orange with a white lift post. I think the number on mine were 31141 or some shit.

I needed a security torx bit and Harbor Freight was the closest store that had one. They had a dozen of them. I dug through them and found 1 and only 1 that had the security pin in the proper location. The other 11 or so were all tooled so badly they wouldn't have worked. 11 out of 12 failure ratio on that part. I guess the manufacturers felt that was good enough?
