So it needs a trans rebuild?

You just have to pull the side cover and the channel plate off it can be done in the car

I don't believe it is a full rebuild. Just the side cover to come off to replace the chain and attach ISS reluctor wheel.

I know he hated doing it, which may keep him from wanted to do it again, but phatride fixed mine in the car. He's usually pretty fair at pricing, but he said that job sucked.

It'll be treated well and I believe will get a 1" chain and gear set installed.

Yeah, it's been a crazy transaction with the car being in IL, me in CA, and the buyer in MI. I let him ship it up there once the purchase price funds cleared and he still had an opportunity to ship it back and receive a refund, minus his deposit. I still have the title with me until he gives me the green light today, hopefully.

He just wanted to make sure besides the trans, nothing was majorly trashed. I obliged and it's a lengthy agreement we have, but if this is how it has to be done in order to sell, then fine. Everything's gone well so far so I hope to be done with the car today when I mail the title.

New owner is going to take great care of it and has a GMR 1" chain set he's going to put in it.

Now to keep saving up for the next fun car.
