FYI.. G&M Auto in rockdale will rebuild your 4l60 for 1700 bucks WITH R&R.. 3 yr unlimited mile warranty, regardless what you put through it.. they did mine.. i dont want to go with a 4l80.. PITA conversion for me (REALLLLY bad back)

My 60 has been long gone. I like the 80e, i just have to make up for the low 1st gears with short gears. It pulls well

I like the 80, its just a PITA with the converter lock-up issue sometimes
