We won't take the kids to Disney any longer, and we are far from extremists. Has to be many families like us out there.....
I feel the same way. Disney is only a couple hours away and I like it but I have no urge to visit now. Maybe in a year or two after the Disney board realizes that getting into politics is not a good business model.
It's probably more a symptom of people cutting back on spending than anything. Airfare and hotel spending are down ~30%
And not wanting to be in long lines for everything, how expensive it is, etc.
My family lives but a couple miles away, and they gave up their passes. It's too expensive and a colossal PITA to enjoy anything there.
