hey,
found a couple of engines forsale.... some are out of 97 gtp's.. i know some body panels were different with the 97 model year but is there and engine difference between 97 and 00? any input would be appriciated thanks ahead of time!

also it shouldnt matter if it were out of a regal either should it? if all i want is the engine.. its gonna be torn down and rebuilt anyways...

Don't get a 97. It is essentially the same short-block motor, but things are placed differently with it. Plus, I think the intake setups are different.

Try for a 99-02 motor. It doesnt matter if its out of a regal, GP, monte carlo or bonneville.

don't know about that. :rolleyes:

Get a 99+ engine. 97's were prone to heads cracking (I think earlyl 98's were too).
