My buddy wants to get rid of it, not sure how much he wants but I'm pretty sure he needs the space in his garage so probably cheap. Yamaha receiver not included.

A few months ago we had to buy one of the kiddos a new instrument for band. The school uses Ellman's Music Center in Naperville. We went to the store and on the wall they had quite a few beginner guitar/amps for around $200.

Also I do t think you would want a beginner to have that amp. 4 12ā€ speakers and 120w of amp would be an easy 120+db of house shaking volume! šŸ˜‚
My 18w Princeton custom will rattle pictures on the wall with a single 12ā€
.

I had a 60w blues Deville years ago and even that was unnecessary for clubs without a PA

My first was a Samick strat from 1989. Ended up being a super great playing strat but it got stolen. Flash to just before Covid I found one on reverb in mint condition for $200 and jumped on it. Ended up replacing the electronics just the way I had it before and with some nice pickups.

We got the Donner package for my daughter for Xmas. Excellent intonation. Plays pretty well, better than any MIM strat Iā€™ve ever played. Definitely great value for a beginner guitar.
