I can contact amsoil and see what filter crosses from K&N. pm me with your info of what you have and i will contact them. Also if you need a nano filter for your car I need the year make and engine size and engine code thanks pat

Good find. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like Amsoil has a replacement filter for the FIPK. The K&N part number is RC-5046 and they have no matching filter.

I would say the EaAU6080 would be the filter you want. Only difference is its an inch shorter.

It's also .5" wider at the top. As long as the extra .5" of widith doesn't cause it to rub on anything, that filter would work fine for your application, nytebyte.

Being shorter should make that ok then as I'd think an inch farther up the taper on his k&n would be at least a 1/2" bigger there.

I tried to install the amsoil eaau6080 filter and it doesn't fit. WTF? I'm gonna keep the K&n on there for now and get a JLT cai in a few weeks. Amsoil has a filter that fits the JLT perfectly.

We do not have a cross reference to K&N part numbers. Please use the dimension chart to determine which filter can be used to replace the present filter.

The amsoil filter I bought still should've fit. It suppose to have the exact same size at the bottom.

It won't fit onto the flange. It's no big deal. I'm gonna get a new setup. JLT cai. With the 4090 amsoil filter.

Maybe they gave you the wrong one. You measure the ID of the filter flange? Does it match the part # description?

Those fuckers are tight. If the k&n was a 6" and this new one is the right one (6" id) then it should work fine. Is it physically not fitting the pipe or doesn't fit in whatever intake box you have?

it doesn't fit the K&N FIPK flange. Yes, it's the correct ID too. It's no big deal guys. I don't care anymore. Thanks for the advice. I appreciate it. I'm gonna get rid of the K&N FIPK and go with this setup.
