Disposal of fluids

So I officially sold my 305/T5 and am starting the swap. I have to pull the motor and trans out starting next week. Where can I take the used trans fluid and antifreeze??

I believe Advance takes fluids.

You can take the trans fluid to any auto parts store as it is just oil. The used antifreeze you can probably take over to a company called Recycle Technologies in Wooddale. You also may be able to take the antifreeze to Jiffy Lube as well just bring the trans fluid there as well to incentify them to take it as they get paid for oil.

My local township (algonquin) has a recycling center that'll take fluids that auto parts stores won't. I'd think others would too

Check with your local municipality, they will usually hold days a couple times a year where you can bring in household chemicals for disposal.

ill take clean oil, trans fluid, hydro oil, ect.. gotta be clean with no contaminates.

antifreeze? uhhhh lets just say ive never had to take that stuff to get disposed of
