I was thinking about dipping the chrome trim around my windows as well. How long does it take to dry? how many coats did you use? I have one full can sitting around.

It dries very fast in these weather conditions. We are talking one coat, second immediately after followed by third. Done in less than a minute and a half and pulling masking tape and paper immediately otherwise the tape peels the dip. The stuff is hard to get the hang of but once you do it's awesome. I used one can for my bumper and door trim and one for the window trim both sides. Go to hardware store buy masking paper and tape like that and do work. :bigthumbs: post pics when you do it

I'm with DD on this one. I was going to paint my GSX grille gloss black, but the flat black looks a lot better IMO!
