Got the bro mirrors all set up last night. Added the cargo light. Running lights and turn signals. Thanks to [MENTION=11447]Nate[/MENTION] for his gm/electrical expertise and for getting his fat little sausage finger prints all over the nufinish.
Damn now you making me wish I had painted caps. Did you buy them that way?
No I ordered the paintable caps and had em painted. It'll look good until they're covered in Rock chips and bugs
A few updates since it's been a while. Just rolled 11k and I love this thing. Averaging 18mpg best has been 26. It pulls worlds better than the 6 and it's very quiet compared.
I did some vinyl tint to the yellow turn signals. And also added a Airaid jr kit with the dry filter. The sounds it makes were worth the price of admission.

I'll be keeping the cats. With the trailer I'll be around 2,000rpm or so depending on speed and wind resistance I don't want to add drone or noise for that but I do wanna satisfy my inner 1quick with some vroom vroom sounds

Closing in on a year of ownership in this thing and I'm still glad I made the jump. Truck just does whatever I need (which isn't much) I still loathe the wheels but am too cheap to do anything about it. It needs a clay and a wax bad. I got new running boards that will get dipped and hung sooner rather than later. Soft roll up tonneau is finally shitty enough that I'll replace it. Thinking tri fold this time. Also one cool thing is I did the upgraded UV shiny linex and even though I'd say it's 50/50 covered it's still shines like new after a good power wash.
Loaded up this thing today and went camping 70mph on 12. 93F on the radio thermometer and trans was 195F and the water temp went to the far side of the 210F dash mark. A/c blaring and kids tablets sucking juice. I love it.
