I have always heard about Foundation, but never actually read it. But I have enjoyed every other Asimov book I've read. This could possibly get me to sign up to see it, but I'll wait for more.

Will definitely watch. I have read nearly every Asimov book written, mostly as a kid. Foundation series was solid SciFi. It will be interesting to see Hari Seldon on a movie screen instead of in my imagination.

I gotta say, Apple TV is starting to kill it with some of these shows.

Looks like they're going to start with Prelude to Foundation which was actually a much later written book that was a prequel to the Foundation Trilogy. The story will probably make more sense that way since it will be linear rather than sticking a prequel at the end of the series like the publisher did after Asimov's death.

I hope they are planning a 7 year series because there are 7 books.

I suppose its time to get Apple TV+ so I can watch this. I can watch For All Mankind too while I'm at it.

Two eps down. I'm just as invested as I thought I would be. But I'm pacing myself, 1 ep per day.

So, holding to 1 episode per day didn't happen. I was on vacation today, and started the one episode, then there was a cliff hanger, then I watched EVERY episode. So now I'm all caught up and have to wait for the weekly releases.

Maybe I'll start in on For All Mankind.

Started this last night, 1 episode down and so far I liked it. I never read the books, so I'm going in blind.

For All Mankind is really good. It gets a bit slow in the middle of season 2 but ends with a bang and a cliffhanger, can't wait for season 3.

I have read Asimov many years ago, I remember his books were a dense read if you know what I mean.

Finished this earlier today. I liked how it ended and I can’t wait for season 2. Saw a few things coming and a few that I did not see coming again all. Really enjoyed this show.
