lmao, im on my computer and i googled route planners. this came up. hey it worked LMAO

The Palisade Park trip is very doable in a day. There are several different routes possible with different twisty and enjoyable roads. It's about as good as it gets in our area.

Taking Rt 2 from Dixon to Rockford along the Rock River is a nice route versus just taking 88 & 39 back.

When near Savannah, IL you can check out Massbach Ridge Winery. It is a nice stop (gravel parking) and the roads around it are fun. You can work back east to RT 78 and head south to Dixon. Then pick up Rt 2 up the Rock River.
