About to replace our entry door and the one we are considering is fiberglass. Looking for anyones experiences with one. There will be a storm door there as well.

If it faces South or Southwest and you’re putting a storm in front of it stay away from darker color stains/paints.

Both my entry doors are fiberglass with storm doors and havent had a single issue for over a decade on either one.

Why are you considering fiberglass instead of steel?

The particular design my wife likes is not available in steel. A 'close' one is but is $470 more and custom order. I'm out in roughly 5 years or so. I just need it be issue free until then and through a sale.

I have one, wife wanted this door, I was just meh over it. No storm door (per mfg recommendation/warranty) and it faces west. I have an overhang, water is rarely a problem so I didn't mind ditching the storm door. Its been ok after ~8 years. If I'd do it again, I'd probably go steel or solid wood.
