paying someone else to tell you how to run a business...thats what it usually amounts to

i wouldnt buy a franchise for the same reason i dont sell amway

if you have the means to buy a mcdonalds franchise then do it

otherwise its like the simpsons episode with marge and pretzels...including fat tony.

I'm an Amsoil dealer, haven't really worked hard enough at it to make good money from it though. It takes quite a bit of ambition to make money on your own, if you have the guts and money to buy into a franchise, go for it. You could make quite a bit of money if you get a good business going.

you are right , it takes some work, but I am making enough to make my car payment.
and my online store does well.
