đź‘‹ INTRO Another turbo 3800 Fbody

Yo, another turbo 3800 fbody here. This time it is the second most common fbody made, 99 pewter 3800 5 speed, with a Amazon t70 t4 70mm hotside kit but with a China 6061 atm, 58mm for the ladies. 80s, soon to be wally 465 and e85, tuned by an asshole.

Not sure what you mean. Mine aren't plastic.
The hose fitting that's held in by a roll pin at the master cylinder is super restrictive. If you drill the hole bigger, you end up with more control of your clutch and less slip when you're giving it the beans.

I'm impressed that the T5 is still hanging in there, that's pretty close to where I broke mine in terms of boost. That seems like a pretty good power number for that amount of boost. I'm assuming you're running the stock cam right?

For the clutch hydraulic lines I ended up just switching over to an lines. Makes pulling the trans a PITA but I had a lot of issues with the quick disconnect deal that comes on these cars and gave up on it. These things replace the parts that get drilled out so I feel like it's an upgrade.

Does camming up help them live at all? Drop the torque down low and give it more top end? Or is it that most cams increase torque across the board so much that it actually makes it worse?
From what I've seen most cams will add torque compared to the stock cam so it should make it worse. Thankfully we have a few other trans options though now that we've gotten to work.

The problem is the decent trans options cost what the car does and a t5 is a couple hundred bucks and a saturday. Now that I say that I'm sure mine will go poof as soon as I lay into it tho.
