May or may not be a +1. Dunno yet.

And yeah, it's a good drive each day but not over bearing. We stop along the way at sight seeing areas, gas stations for the rowdy crew, etc.

If I recall people said the second day was too long and the first day was too short? Therefore I think it may have been Carter that suggested moving the hotel a bit farther around the lake? I'd have to re-read to remember exactly and I don't have time to do that now.

My thought was only because I'm doing a 3 day thing due to lack of PTO. Moving the hotel more north past Escanaba into...... whatever town it was I said a page or two back and then doing Muskegon again, I think.

Could do Manistique (another 54 miles Northeast of Escanaba) and Muskegon again if we're condensing to a 3 day. Manistique is 345 miles, then another 345 to Muskegon, then ~237 to my house which would probably be comparable for most of us. Would be a very nice 3 day trip. Just my thoughts.
