So I just noticed this on the tops of my rear strut towers.. Is there anything I can do?

Depends on if you're handy and have a MIG or not I guess. That tiny bit of rust would be easy to repair if you did. Cut it out, weld in new metal, seal it up and protect it from the wheel well.

"Break out the welder before it turns into a shitstorm" does not seem to be the prevailing mindset here :angrys00ls:

Does not look fun. Is this on your turbo car? If so that sucks, I know youve got plans for it.

Looks like it has just started in the past year or so.

Mine looked like that... back in 2005...

Spend a long, nasty day (or weekend) ... grind/cut out old crap.
Weld in new stuff... and coat the hell out of both sides.

Depending on year, later years had a nice fender liner that went in the backs
to protect them. My 98's did not have these. SO if yours don't have,
get em.

My brother in law did his few years ago. Strut busted through. Took him a
day to do.

Set it on fire before it sets itself on fire
