Its actually a refurb but my first chromebook was one and it lasted me 2 years before I upgraded. Either way, still a great deal.

Its actually a refurb but my first chromebook was one and it lasted me 2 years before I upgraded. Either way, still a great deal.
My first chromebook was also refurb. Still working perfectly a couple yrs later

Processor probably. And maaaaybe screen size. There are a few high end screens now.

Yeah that's pretty much the differences. CPU, screen size, hard drive size and ram.

I've been thinking about picking up an intel-based Chromebook and running a light Linux distro on it. Great battery-life, super portable, usually USB 3 ports and SD card readers.

I have a ThinkPad t430 now, which I love, but it's a bit bulky with the 9-cell battery.

Ive got an i3 in mine. It was a workhorse when I first got it has recently started to slow down some. Been flawless otherwise tho.
