Watched a cure for wellness the other night. weird ass movie. But i enjoyed it. Then watched war for the planet of the apes last night. I gotta say it was probably the best of the 3. The first 2 are good, but after those, I wasnt sure how this one would be, but it actually kinda surprised me. First words out of my mouth after the credits rolled were "god damn a movie for making me hate my own species"

Megan Leavey. I really liked it. Tho i will admit I have a bias, since I have the privilege of being able to help out and work with military dog handlers in a small way. But I also think this was probably Kate Mara's best serious role to date.

and the Conjuring 2. Was also good. If youve watched any conjuring/annabelle/insidious/james wan movie you know what to expect. Not really what i would call a scary movie, maybe slightly unsettling at times, but it was fun to yell at my tv for a little while. Some of the camera work was great, and other times it completely telegraphed what was about to happen. But thats just part of the fun.

Murder on the Orient Express. Kind of cheesy, but decent. I'm not sure I liked the ending though.

Wife and I saw it and it wasnt bad. The ending was for sure out of left field. To us anyway, and I usually like to try to guess movies like that in the middle.

Saw Game Night last night, was fucking hilarious   There was one part where I was literally in tears for a few minutes. Jason Bateman is awesome.

Great movie!

Game Night was hilarious. And always love me some Rachel McAdams.

Just watched Dunkirk 4k Bluray. Stunning movie from a visual and auditory standpoint. Was quite light in other areas....like dialog....and plot...but the dog fighting scenes were quite excellent. A little strange that when you have names like Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy, the most compelling character was an old man in a boat...but I enjoyed the movie for what it was.

Mark Rylance is a better actor than both of them

But yeah the movie is cinematography porn with a killer soundtrack.

The Foreigner. Actually not bad. Jackie Chan can still kick ass.

The Belko Experiment. One of the most fucked up movies ive ever seen  But there's one line in the movie that still has me laughing.

T2 Trainspotting. Im gonna say it was really good. It's a lot darker than the first one, but still has moments of genuine humor. It legitimately deals with the fallout of what happened at the end of the first one, if you can put aside the fact that 20 years has passed since the events of the first movie and these characters just cant move past it. It has just the right amount of nostalgia sprinkled in. If I had one complaint, it's the soundtrack. It's horrible. The soundtrack of the first movie was just as much of a character as anyone that starred in it. This movie teases you with snippets of what made the first movie great, but everything else was just garbage. But that's my only complaint.

Rewatched the Kingsman because I haven't seen it since I saw it in the theater, and then watched Kingsman 2. Not a bad way to spend 4 and a half hours. Second one wasnt quite as epic as the first, but it definitely wasn't bad by any stretch. Love the way they film the fight scenes in these movies. And Elton fucking John.
