I've worked while on a 35 mile bicycle ride renegotiating a vendor contract. If my supervisor is okay with it, why shouldn't I?

Shit... I've heard her moving a shopping cart around a liquor store at 2pm on Wednesday while hosting calls, and asking for margarita suggestions. As long as my work performance isn't impacted, I'm doing my job, and I'm available during normal hours they give me a lot of flexibility.

Just to add, I have hosted calls while on my motorcycle cruising to/from the office, or just out for a lunchtime ride. Until I mentioned it to someone weeks later hey had no clue. Couldn't hear a bit of background noise. As long I don't have to present something, they'll never know.

Did a couple things. Late in the season last year, I got hit from behind by another bike while we were stopped. One of those things that shouldn't happen but does. Anyway, I got an estimate from HD on a new fender and compared it to aftermarket. Ended up getting an Advanblack CVO fender for less than the OEM would have costed. I really like the new look. It looks so much cleaner.

I also wanted to get rid of the ugly stock aircleaner. I really like the look of the stock air cleaners that the 21+ Street Glide Specials (and all other 114ci engines) come with. It's essentially the same as the Screaming Eagle Ventilator that sells for $300. I saw a post on one of the Street Glide pages on FB that a guy was looking to buy one. Another guy posted he had one, and when I looked at his profile he lives in Naperville, so I messaged him. He sold it to me for $50. Also looks so much better.

And yes, I'm going to cover the plate that says 114 lol. I'm going to wrap it in black vinyl and put some sort of decal there.

Got out on Saturday pretty much all day long.
I left around 9am to hit up Fox River HD to pick up a part that I ordered when I bought my bike. Heel shifter was on back order for ever. I'm not sure why they just don't come setup with one already. Pretty much everyone on a HD bagger does this.
My girl had some running around to do, so I took the long way home to get some more miles in. Got home put on the shifter and we took off to Lake Geneva for the day. Dam was it windy as shit but the ride was well worth it. We racked on a good amount of miles for the day.
Now I need to get my bars installed. These stock bars are junk.

Rode out to Elburn to check out Obscurity Brewing with a friend on his new Street Glide. We took advantage of the bank being closed on Sunday to park under their overhang next door since it was drizzling a bit. These cold and wet weekends need to end soon...
