When I'm going hard, lifting 5-6 days a week, every 10-12 weeks or so. I'll take a deload week where I dont lift jack shit the whole week. That following week when I get back to it, I always feel stronger. I went hard for 7-8 years and was insanely fucking strong. Then the last year I turned into a lazy POS and was in the gym a few times a month, partly due to work, but more so just being lazy and or losing the drive. I was at 425 on a 1rm on flat, 385 incline, 245 seated OH press. Now, I could probably hit a 1rm of 365 flat, 315 incline and 185 OH press. Also, this may sound strange, but my weight at 300-315lbs when I'm working out 5-6 days a week doesnt feel like I'm heavy, I feel solid af.
Same weight while being a lazy POS, I feel like a fat ass.
how long do you spend in there? i'd want to bang out in an hour or less if i was visiting that frequently. i did lower weights on squats and deadlifts last week to try and do kind of a deload or relaxed week. i've become lazy, i'm good at going in 4 days a week, but i pretty much bang out 2 compound lifts i have at the start of the plan i made then anything else is kind of best effort and usually just trying to gtfo. haven't finished a full planned routine for probably 6mo, after maybe a good 12mo of doing so. not sure which numbers i should find most impressive but the OH press to me are both crazy strong sounding.

I try to lift for 1hr when I'm at the gym, but total time is more so 80-90 min. I'll warm up on treadmill with 10 min walk at 3.0mph, then go lift.
I'll end my workout with more treadmill for another 10-20 min mix of walk and jog pending how my back is feeling that day.

I saw a big ass dude (power lifter body) the other day banging out 365lb standing OH presses. Granted he was only able to get 2-3 reps per set, but that was fucking impressive AF. He was a fucking mountain of a man though, had to be every bit of 350-375lbs, with the biggest neck I have ever seen lol, but solid AF

Biked last night, swam this morning. Can't gripe, did about 2 miles. Probably could have gone a bit further. I'm doing an 800m warm up and outlasting people who are showing up late now. That out of the way, the 2 sets of 4X100 were brutal. I was coming in and they were going out, barely got a breath of rest. Don't recall the interval, but it was pretty damn tight I think. Held 1:20 on the 75s though but barely which was definitely a tight interval.

Hey stupid ass question for you guys, if you're working out how do you figure out how to compensate for calorific intake due to workout? I was trying to get back to calorie tracking and it wasn't working. I've been probably adding about 2400 more swim than I had before and say 3 45 minute bike sessions weekly.

Made up for Friday with a great shoulder and arm workout on Sunday. Then for no reason my right shoulder hurts so bad I couldnā€™t use my arm Sunday night. Better Monday but couldnā€™t raise it above my head. Today probably back to 80%. Slight pain when doing a lateral raise. Not much else hurts now.

Just got home from the gym. OMFG, some chick in there was sooooooo fucking hot. I dont eat ass, but would have ate her ass and licked the sweat out of her crack as well.
Everything about her was fucking perfect. Her nipples were rock fucking hard every time I took a peak at her.
Apparently she is some sort of social media fitness influencer or some shit like that. A young kid and his GF were working out on the bench next to me. I heard the kids GF say OMG, thats so and so, she has 1.4m followers.

Pics or it didn't happen, next time...

after a year that I haven't do shit not even working out at home, I went to the planet fitness in Melrose park since it's the closest one to where I just moved. it's big it doesn't smell like shit and locker rooms are wide open. I liked it.
Anyways, I worked out yesterday and the day before, I stopped at the Jewel store to get me a protein shake and god damn they are nuts expensive now. one small muscle milk shake it's $5 or two for $9, honestly I was shocked or at least I don't recall them being this expensive, a whole gallon of milk makes more sense. I bought a 4 pack while I shop around for better options.

I used to be nervous to take pics at LA Fitness, but I did here and there. At Lifetime no fucking way, there are cameras all over that place. Plus with all this shit with these dudes getting caught doing that at gyms, fuck that. You will just have to take my word for it lol.

Protein shake at Lifetime is like $14 lol

my 7-11 protein shakes are 49 thb or $1.36 for the ones i buy. 28g protein, 170 calories, 350 ml.

i buy 95% of them just to take home, mix in even more vanilla hydrolyzed whey protein, then freeze them to create protein ice creams in my ninja creami. usually chocolate and coffee flavors.

yours sound really expensive, especially compared to just buying a bag of protein powder

Do your homework when it comes to buying protein. Lots of them just have shit fillers in them.

I've never known anyone to really be able to measure a difference between proteins, buy from one of the few reliable brands and be done. AML, outwork, and steel supps are the 3 I've bought and I liked steel the most because it mixed the easiest.
