alright so im buying my clutch system tonight and ill need someone to do an install for me with some assistance from me and a buddy. ive never done one and dont want to risk it by myself, but dont want to pay a dealer.

its a monster stage 3 clutch, new slave and master cylinder. new flywheel and throwout bearing plus a remote bleed line.

ill be willing to feed u and get you a case of beer of your choice plus some money ( we can discuss in pm)

also i have access to a heated garage but no lift.

so if anyone wants to make some extra cash and help a fellow TCGer let me know :)

When I installed my monster stage 3, everything went in without shimming. Pilot bearing replacement was pie with the correct puller tool which I rented from AZ IIRC... slave cyl was also easy to install. I didn't have the remote bleeder setup w/mine, bleeding was easy for me though, not sure why everyone struggles with that part usually...

You'll need to get the car up high enough to drag the trans out... or higher if you're going to use a transmission jack to roll it out on (another 5-6"). I have a trans jack, although it is out on loan right now.

If you're still looking for someone, let me know... I'll see what I can do schedule wise.

I'd call Monster and just see what they say.

I'm making basically that same power and also spray the car... I chose to go with the monster stage III setup over the LS7. There's TONS of good write ups on the LS7 on ls1tech, there are definitely a few cars that tried LS7s @ your power level and ended up putting in another clutch soon after either cuz the LS7 flat out failed or just slipped too much.

I beat up my monster setup and it has never failed me. Difference I'd say is probably going to be in drivability, as the monster doesn't slip nearly as seamlessly as the LS7 will... but the monster will take the beating unlike the LS7.

Finally, monster warrantys their product for 1 year!

I don't have a problem with my mcloed its just drivability sucks. Makes not want to drive the car. Any input would be great
