Some of the things I see defy explanation as I cannot believe how nice these things are and are still in service. I'll start it

My comment wasn't meant to be racist. Its just what I see guys. In my experience, if I see a Chebby Astro, there is a 99% probability that the person driving it is Hispanic.
It’s kind of like if you see a ford Aerostar. There’s a 100% chance they are middle eastern

Saw a nice 94-96 Impala SS the other day on the way to work Cammin' like a Mofo. Love those cars. It was raining and I was all set to give him a thumbs up for driving it, but he threw a rev at me and a dirty look.

Probably thought it was a body kitted' ricer car.

Unfortunately he did not realize the RS was AWD. I felt no remorse for instructing him otherwise.

Could have been more fun if it was dry though and he had a chance to put any power down.

I will say this I probably think this every time I see a Contour rolling around. I mean I had the 4 cyl auto one and I"ve heard good stuff about the SVT ones but my god you want to talk about an example of everything wrong with domestic econoboxes in the 90s it probably would be it in my mind.

It's the one car I would absolutely be like "eeh no" about ever owning another one of. Even the Volvo with its pain in the dick breakagaes would leave me going "mayyybeeeeeee......." if I saw one for sale that was the right price.

In 1990, I had a 1989 Escort GT w/ a manual transmission .

Spun first and chirped second gear

Fun car to toss around, DD, go on dates with
I had an '87. The Mercury Lynx XR3 variant. 1.9 liters of fury !

Actually, yeah, for the day it was a very nice little car. With the hatchback and fold down rear seat it was a versatile car with decent performance.
