Also, how the hell did the Blazer become the main discussion in a thread about how bad 6G Camaro's blow? lol

I actually kind of like the new Blazer. Looks damn good and I'd consider one for the wife.

that's what we call "the 98GrandPrixIraqVet effect".

surprised he hasn't brought up supercharging an a10 5 oh stang yet in here truthfully.

+1, lol. I don't bother debating anyone that compares modified vehicles to stock vehicles when they're in the same class. I honestly thought people gave that up once they got past the teenage years, but some haven't.

Anyone who thinks the 6th gen is a piece of shit is a moron. The car is still the best performance car per dollar out there. You can't expect to sell 75K cars annually with just a performance model. The Vette sells what, 30K? It's a niche car, the Camaro is not. If the car had a normal belt line and trunk opening and was priced competitively in the market it would still be selling like the 5th gen. GM went upscale then thought people wanted to see the 5th gen design for 10 more years. Who the fuck signs off on this shit at GM?

My 4 - 5 hrs bumper to bumper commute in my 17 Mustang GT can be challenging.

It would be wrist slitting in the Camaro (comfort, visibility, enjoyment).
I could never DD a Mustang. Need more space and comfort...

The same morons that designed the P.O.S. lol

I never minded my dad's S197 Mustang for comfort. Seats were good, seating position was good, although not sure my left leg could handle a 2 hour traffic commute with a stick...clutch was on the lighter side though, certainly not the worst I've ever had. Definitely would choose a Mustang over this stupid Honda Fit I have as a loaner right now...

I usually daily a Flex, which is uber comfy, but WAY too big for me for DD duties.

Gotta ask how the price for trim levels compares to say a Mustang or Charger/Challenger. I mean, maybe I'm wrong but they seem kinda $$$ for what you get vs say a 5.0 and perhaps even worse in the lower trims. Base price is something like 27-28K with a 4 cylinder.

Mustang net price for a base model, no options is $26900. Camaro is $26500.

I think a decently optioned GT vs comparable SS is around the same price, don't care to bother building each to confirm. For a loaded car the mustang PP isn't even in the same ballpark as the SS 1LE so it's not worth comparing them.

https://www.motortrend.com/cars/che...-ford-mustang-gt-performance-pack-comparison/

Then came the track. We took the two American icons out to Streets of Willow. Here's the good news for Ford fans. The fastback GT laid down a 1:23.97 lap. That's 0.24 second off the aforementioned M4 (1:23.73), just quicker than a Lexus RC F (1:24.08), and nearly three tenths of a second better than a 2015 Mustang GT Performance Pack (1:24.29). The bad news? The Camaro SS 1LE laid down a 1:20.67 lap, 3.3 seconds quicker. In other words, these two cars wouldn't be allowed to race together. Different class doesn't cover it. The list of cars the Camaro went faster than should embarrass some OEMs: Porsche Cayman GT4, 2014 Audi R8 V10 Plus, Ferrari 458 Italia. I mean, come on!

I must be the only guy on this site that actually likes the new blazer. I think it looks good and the fully loaded price is actually less than I thought it’d be. Everybody is all butthurt about the name because it stirs up nostalgia about the K5 box blazer but everybody seems to forget 90% of blazers produced were the terrible S10 version that were a combination of the worst things a vehicle could be: poor quality, bad fuel economy, bad reliability, high price.

I really like the 6G camaro SS’s... I’ve had a few as rental cars and enjoyed them each time. Also had 5.0 mustangs and definitely preferred the camaro’s performance and interior...

I debate on my next car being a camaro SS , manual vert, or going some like Grand Cherokee SRT.... who knows...
