So the 03 LQ4 had some funky enrichment table per Jim at Speed. Fucking night and day difference with the tune. The 18" magnaflow muffler sounds perfect. Deep rumble at idle, nice a gurgly. Not deafening during acceleration and only a little drone over stock at highway speeds. But, I probably wont even hear it since it is at Linex doing a sound deadening undercoating and Im going to dynamat this thing in spring. On that note, the interior has a few more imperfections than I want, I want to swap it for black or the dark gray color. Plus the drivers seat up/down is broken. Keep a lookout for seats and shit for me during your craigslist adventures por favor.

Did you have any of the torque management removed. Also, did you do efans or have the ECM enabled for doing them in the future?

just as a bet, i bet most of the torque management was removed. speed inc is definitely where my LS powered anything would wind up fo sho

Yep, most or all of tq mgmnt was removed. They have done a few vehicles for me and they always do a fantastic job. No crazy builds or anything, but bolt-on daily driver tunes are spot on. I'll do the fans in spring and prob have them install them and switch to a 180 stat and have them turn it on then.

Weird thing though, i came home at 4:30 last night and parked up to my garage as usual. Didnt seem that icey, but this am my truck slid like 10 ft down my driveway. Its not that steep and I have lived here over 20 years and never seen that happen. Truck has open country A/Ts that have decent tread.

I cant decide on a bed cover though. I like the look of the hard covers that lay flush, but removing them kinda seems like a pain in the ass with the big panels you need to put somewhere. That said, its not all that often I haul over-sized stuff where I would need to remove them. The vinyl roll ups just look kinda cheap.

The retrax are nice but have that box at the front. Not conducive to short dic- short bed guys like me who throw quads and shit in them. For the average home owner, they're nice.

I'm still preferential to the G2 Bakflip. Frank's is nice.
