What ain't no country I ever heard of
Ford cant keep recalls quiet. TSB (Technical Service Bulletins) are only for those that complain about a certain problem. Just call a dealership and ask them to check the TSBs for your cars VIN. Randy at Sutton might be able to check for you. There is probably somwhere on the net for the info but I dont know where. If the noise is loud and at times steering is compromised then they should do something no matter what. Good Luck Lyle

Search at SVTP?!?!?! Sorry forgot about that.

I checked my TSB file at work and I don't have one dealing with the rack. I got them about 4 or 5 months ago though so there are probably new ones since then.

Isn't there an automotive consumer awareness type group somewhere that has a searchable database? I kinda remember looking up something about a previous POS pinging 3.0 Ranger engine a couple years ago.

the steering rack was taken care of, what i ment by it is that is the only problem that i have had with my car so far. but i was hearing that there are more things that ford knows is wrong with them but are not saying anything unless you say some thing about it. one exapmle is they have to replace i believe the pass. side head due to some problem. had a site before that explained it but forgot where its at. someone on another forum sent me a link. that for any help.
