Its actually a pretty good time. they have carninval food there, all night weirdness, stars and then the messed up flea marketing. There is everything there, some auto parts vendors show up (where else would I have found the hood ornament to a 1970 monte carlo for 5 dollars) and general vendors and neat.. stuff.
Bring a flashlight and a jacket and cash, everything is negotiable.

Pretty much the same thing I do. You wait till late and people will give stuff away just so they do not have to lug is back home.
