Probably not but I mean..Seinfeld, David, George AT the diner? TELL ME YOUR SECRETS!!

As photos of "George" and "Jerry" strolling past the famed diner hit the Internet via Twitter and Instagram, fans started speculating about the reunion. When some of the photos revealed that cameras were stationed inside the closed restaurant and were filming the two stars, the rumor mill really started buzzing with speculation about what the famous duo was doing.

Were they filming a new installment of Seinfeld's hit Web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee? Were they taping a Super Bowl commercial, as website Gothamist suggested?

Video of Seinfeld co-creator Larry David emerging from the diner showed up online, too, making it seem even more likely that there was some sort of Seinfeld reunion underway.

However, with no Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), Newman (Wayne Knight) or Kramer (Michael Richards) in sight, perhaps the threesome were working on something else. Something like the big, huge, gigantic project with David that Seinfeld alluded to earlier this month.

'Seinfeld' Reunion Will Happen 'Very, Very Soon'

"Seinfeld" fans, brace yourselves.

A "Seinfeld" reunion will happen "very, very soon," according to Jerry Seinfeld.

Rumors sprung up last week when Seinfeld, Jason Alexander and Larry David were spotted at Tom's Restaurant on the Upper West Side. The diner's facade was an iconic part of "Seinfeld," and the Internet freaked out accordingly. Some thought they were prepping for an episode of "Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee," but Seinfeld denied that theory on the "Boomer & Carton" radio show on WFAN on Thursday morning (Jan. 30). Instead, he promised a "Seinfeld" reunion.

Earlier this month, Seinfeld hinted at a "secret project" during his Reddit AMA and on the same radio show, he said that Alexander would reprise his role as George Costanza and other “Seinfeld” characters would be involved. He also described the project as being "short-ish" -- but longer than 60 seconds -- and a "one-and-done" thing involving Larry David.

Listen to the interview with Seinfeld for more on a "Seinfeld" reunion.
