Well I haven't posted or been very active here for quite sometime, and being one of the few Honda owners I figured I would give you local domestic guys something to hate on and show you my current project Civic lol.

When I first joined here I had an H22A Euro R swapped 94 Civic coupe and a B16A swapped 89 Civic sedan, both of those are long gone and it has been nearly 2 years since I've had anything fun to drive. So September of last year I picked up a new Civic, this time a 93 Hatch to get a little crazy with...i guess there really is no replacement for displacement :p

I went and picked up this bad boy I want to say sometime around November of last year

J32A2 from an 02 TL-S, came with a 6 sp manual trans from an 04 TL as well...the work began slowly and took almost exactly a year from my purchase of the car to get it running. On to some work in progress pics:

The car still needs a good deal of work, and over the winter I plan on getting it ready to tune on AEM EMS and possibly consider going the E85 route. The stock ECU just isn't cutting it for me, but even with the weaknesses of running the stock ecu in this chassis it still pulls like a son of a bitch.

Thought I'd let you all know the scoop before you see me driving around and wonder why the idiot in a Civic with a goof ass cowl looking thing on the hood is experiencing mad wheel spin and torque steer :p

thanks for the kind words guys

that's really cool. i dig that

any plans to do anything with that hood?

im considering some sort of cowl that follows the stock hood lines, but anything i've seen done makes the hood look like a shelf lol. Im considering switching to a new 09+ TL-SHAWD manifold, they make more power and are about an inch and a half shorter, id like to keep the cowl well shortish :p

very nice work, ive seen this swap a few times on the web and i hope to see urs in person some time. hows the handling now with the 2 extra cylinders>

it has a fair amount of torque steer, not too used to that in a honda chassis lol. it doesn't seem to be too bad with all that weight up front, i can imagine it will get a fair amount of understeer if i really were to push is though

hahaha awesome thats the oldest constant of hotrodding...big motor small car lol

sawzall ftw i ended up modifying a ton of crap to try and stuff it under the hood lol

those mounts bolt right up?

the engine mount on the passenger side has its own chassis mounting bracket. the oe bracket needed to be cut off to fit that, the two other mounting locations are stock on the chassis.
