Well I haven't posted or been very active here for quite sometime, and being one of the few Honda owners I figured I would give you local domestic guys something to hate on and show you my current project Civic lol.
When I first joined here I had an H22A Euro R swapped 94 Civic coupe and a B16A swapped 89 Civic sedan, both of those are long gone and it has been nearly 2 years since I've had anything fun to drive. So September of last year I picked up a new Civic, this time a 93 Hatch to get a little crazy with...i guess there really is no replacement for displacement
I went and picked up this bad boy I want to say sometime around November of last year
J32A2 from an 02 TL-S, came with a 6 sp manual trans from an 04 TL as well...the work began slowly and took almost exactly a year from my purchase of the car to get it running. On to some work in progress pics:
Finally ready to drive
at a local honda meet a few weeks ago:
hiding behind a 240
the up close and personal
and my personal favorite:
The car still needs a good deal of work, and over the winter I plan on getting it ready to tune on AEM EMS and possibly consider going the E85 route. The stock ECU just isn't cutting it for me, but even with the weaknesses of running the stock ecu in this chassis it still pulls like a son of a bitch.
Thought I'd let you all know the scoop before you see me driving around and wonder why the idiot in a Civic with a goof ass cowl looking thing on the hood is experiencing mad wheel spin and torque steer
